Born in 1934. Studies in Frankfurt am Main, post-graduate judicial training in Darmstadt. Was temporarily assistant in the juridical chair of the Technischen Hochschule Darmstadt. Since 1968 practising as lawyer in Darmstadt. From 1976 to 2004 he was also a notary.
